Terms for The Spelling List.
Effective October 3, 2026. These terms govern use of The Spelling List, operated by Etale Topology Labs.
Who may use the service
Teacher accounts are for adults who can enter this agreement and are authorized to use the service in their classroom or organization. Students use teacher-created links and do not create accounts. If your school requires approval, obtain it before use.
Educational role
The Spelling List provides instructional support and aggregate classroom evidence. Generated explanations and classifications may be incomplete or mistaken. Review a practice before sharing it and use professional judgment. The service does not diagnose a learner, guarantee an outcome, or replace a teacher, specialist, assessment, or an individualized plan.
Your content and responsibilities
You keep ownership of content you submit and give us a limited license to process it only to operate and improve the requested service. Submit only material you are authorized to use. Do not submit student names, contact details, education-record identifiers, unlawful content, malicious instructions, or unsafe spelling lists. Keep assignment links within the intended class.
Acceptable use
Do not interfere with the service, evade limits, probe other accounts, automate abusive traffic, introduce malicious code, use the service to harass anyone, or copy or reverse engineer protected parts except where law permits. We may suspend access needed to protect users or the service.
Subscriptions
Teacher Pro is billed yearly through Stripe at the price shown before checkout and renews until canceled. Manage or cancel through the billing portal; cancellation stops future renewal and access continues through the paid period. Except where law requires otherwise, paid fees are non-refundable. Taxes may apply.
Account ending and disputes
You may stop using the service at any time. We may terminate an account for material breach, abuse, legal necessity, or security risk. Before filing a claim, contact etaletopologylabs@gmail.com so we can try to resolve it informally. Applicable mandatory consumer rights remain unchanged.
Changes and contact
We may update these terms. Material changes will be dated and, when appropriate, presented to account holders. Continued use after an effective change means acceptance where permitted by law. Questions: etaletopologylabs@gmail.com.
